Troubleshooting
Q. Do I need to log in to use it?
No. Browsing the list and details, and requesting songs or joining parts in an ongoing session, are all possible without signing up. Applying in advance, favorites, comments, and notifications require registration.
Q. If I register, does that day's participation record get erased?
No. If you register after joining with just a name, you can carry over your record up to that point. It's reflected in the rankings too.
Q. The part I want is "Open", but I can't join.
Depending on the jam board's "song stage", you may not be able to join that part yet. Press the button and the reason is shown (e.g., "For now you can only join your own part. Other parts open in the next stage."). The host advances the stages.
Q. I want to leave a song that's already Ready.
For a Ready song (all parts filled), participants can't cancel themselves. Please ask the host to release the slot.
Q. I can't register my display name.
Display names are unique across everyone, so a name that's already taken can't be registered or changed to. Please try a different name.
Q. I'm not getting notifications.
In the menu's "Notifications" settings, check these two things: ① Is "Receive notifications on this device" at the very top turned on? (required per device), and ② Are the kinds you want turned on?
Microsoft Edge may not show the permission dialog with its default settings, so you might not be able to turn it on. For details, see Notifications.
Q. Some parts stay in Japanese even after switching to EN.
That's by design. The options in the Area (prefecture), Part, and Region dropdowns show their English name when one has been registered, and stay in Japanese when it hasn't (these names are entered by an administrator, and the English name is optional). The admin screens are Japanese only too. Everything else on the user-facing screens appears in English.
Q. Can I search for sessions by name?
Yes. Enter part of the session or venue name in the search box above the list. It works alongside the date, area, part, and status filters. If you've been given a join ID at the venue, opening it directly from "Join by ID" in the menu is faster.
Q. After filtering, no sessions show up at all.
Your conditions may be too narrow. Pressing "Clear filters" removes all conditions.
Note that filtering by date or area drops sessions with no date or region set. Older sessions and instant ones may have no region, so switch back to "All areas" and try again.
Also, finished and canceled sessions are not shown by default. When you are looking for a session that has already happened, tick "Show finished sessions" in the filters. Note that "Clear filters" also clears that checkbox and returns you to upcoming sessions only — it does not mean "show every status".

| Waitlist | A mechanism to register for a full part and, when a spot opens, join first-come via an all-at-once notification. |
| Song stage | Songs not open yet → Song requests open → Join others' songs → Open to all. An order for spreading playing opportunities across everyone. On the creation form the same stages are named "Members only / Initial song requests / Join requests / Fully open". |
| Reference URL | A URL — usually a video — you can attach to a song request for reference. It shows as an icon on the jam board and opens in a separate window. |
| Monitor display | A display screen projecting the host's PC onto the venue monitor. Shows the QR and the playing song large. |
